About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP) to join our clients urgent care and emergency team. The successful candidate will work autonomously to assess, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with a range of urgent and emergency conditions, ensuring high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. Our client is based in the healthcare sector

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide autonomous assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients presenting with urgent and emergency conditions
  • Prescribe medications in line with professional guidelines and local protocols
  • Request and interpret diagnostic tests as required
  • Manage minor injuries and illnesses independently, referring to other healthcare professionals when necessary
  • Contribute to the delivery of high-quality, safe, and effective emergency care services
  • Participate in the development and implementation of clinical pathways and guidelines
  • Offer education and support to patients, families, and colleagues on emergency care practices
  • Engage in clinical audits, quality improvement projects, and professional development activities

Who We Are Looking For:

  • Education: Nursing degree or diploma in adult nursing. Master’s degree or postgraduate qualification in Advanced Clinical Practice (or equivalent)

Experience:

  • 1+ Years
  • Proven experience as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner or within an emergency/urgent care setting
  • Skilled in assessing, diagnosing, and managing minor injuries, illnesses, and urgent care presentations
  • Familiarity with working in multidisciplinary teams in high-pressure environments

Skills:

  • Strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
  • Proficiency in using System1
  • Organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise care effectively
  • Commitment to patient-centred care and evidence-based practice
