About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate A&E Nurse to join our team working at Royal Bournemouth & Poole Hospital through HCRG Staffing Connect. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced clinical environment, supporting patients with a wide range of urgent and life-threatening conditions while contributing to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services within an NHS setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients presenting with a wide range of emergency and urgent health conditions
- Undertake rapid patient assessment, triage, and prioritisation in accordance with clinical guidelines
- Monitor, assess, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions safely and effectively
- Work collaboratively with doctors, paramedics, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and deliver appropriate care plans
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient records in line with NMC and Trust standards
- Provide reassurance, support, and clear communication to patients and their families during emergency situations
- Uphold infection prevention, safeguarding, patient safety, and clinical governance standards at all times
Who We’re Looking For
Education: Nursing degree or equivalent qualification
Licences: Current NMC registration
Experience:
- Previous experience working within an Accident & Emergency (A&E) ward
- Experience managing acutely ill or injured patients in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Confident in recognising deteriorating patients and responding appropriately in emergency situations

- Excellent clinical assessment and triage skills
- Ability to remain calm, organised, and effective under pressure
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Compassionate, patient-centred approach to care
