About the Role
We are seeking a caring and dedicated Support Worker to join our team supporting adults with learning disabilities in their own home. This is a rewarding opportunity to help individuals live independently, build confidence, develop life skills, and enjoy the activities and experiences that matter most to them.
A full UK manual driving licence is essential for this role, as you’ll support individuals to access their local community, attend appointments, take part in activities, and maintain important relationships.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide high-quality, person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities.
· Support individuals with daily living activities while promoting independence and choice.
· Encourage participation in hobbies, social activities, and community events.
· Assist with appointments, shopping, outings, and travel within the community.
· Build positive relationships and encourage confidence and life skills.
· Follow individual support plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures.
· Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals to deliver the best possible support.
Requirements:
· Full UK manual Driving Licence (essential)
· Previous experience working as a Support Worker
· Strong communication skills
