This week, join us as we celebrate the power of community and continue the conversation around mental health, because together, we’re stronger.
Mental health is something we all have, like physical health, it needs care, compassion, and connection. Some days we feel balanced and in control. Other days, we may feel overwhelmed, anxious, or low, and that’s okay. What’s not okay is feeling like we must face it alone.
That’s why at HCRG Staffing, we’re proud to support Mental Health Awareness Week 2025, led by the Mental Health Foundation. This year, the week takes place from 12 to 18 May 2025 and the theme is ‘community’. We want to use this Mental Health Awareness Week to celebrate the power and importance of community.
Why Community Matters for Mental Health
Connection is one of the most powerful protectors of our mental wellbeing. When we feel part of a supportive community, whether that’s in the workplace, at home, or in our wider networks – we’re more likely to open, ask for help, and care for ourselves and others.
At HCRG Staffing, our community includes healthcare professionals, support workers, coordinators, and everyone behind the scenes working to deliver better outcomes for people. But we know that to truly care for others, we must also care for ourselves and each other.
As Greg Western, Divisional Lead for Mental Health, shares:
“We can’t support the people we serve unless we also support each other. Mental health is not a weakness – it’s a vital part of wellbeing. Talking about how we feel should be normal, not brave. The more we speak up, the safer it becomes for everyone to do the same.”

Let’s Keep the Conversation Going
Mental Health Awareness Week is a timely reminder, but our commitment doesn’t end here. At HCRG Staffing, we’re working every day to build a community where mental health matters, and where no one feels they must struggle in silence.
Together, let’s keep moving. Let’s keep supporting. And most importantly, let’s keep talking.
