Our courses are held face to face at one of our training locations, and are available to book via your consultant. We offer a wide range of training and support, and can even offer bespoke courses on any clinical or health and social care topic.

Basic Life Support (BLS)

The BLS course teaches the knowledge and skills to: Identify the causes and promote the prevention of cardiopulmonary arrest. Recognition of cardiac arrest and calling for help. Undertake the skills of quality CPR and defibrillation (AED) and simple airway manoeuvres.

Basic Airway Management

Designed to enable you to become comfortable with airway management, this course covers: airway assessment; recognising airway compromise; basic airway manoeuvres; airway adjuncts; supraglottic devices; endotracheal intubation; Bag Valve Mask Ventilation; and the difficult airway.

Management of Actual or Potential Aggression (MAPA)

This course will enhance your management of disruptive, aggressive and or violent behaviour while ensuring that everyone involved in crisis situations can maintain the Care, Welfare, Safety and Security of all involved.

Prevention and Management of Violence And Aggression (PMVA)

This course is designed to help you with common situations, and covers: communication; con-aggressive conflict management, hands on approaches to conflict management, control & restraint techniques; and everything that you will need to diffuse and mange a potentially dangerous situation.
